PRICE REVIEW COMMITTEE MEETING: In order to maintain the sanctity of the holy month of Ramazan the district price review committee in consultation with the traders’ community has decided not to increase the prices of daily use commodities during the fasting month.

The committee met here at the District Headquarters Complex Tajazai on Wednesday with Deputy Commissioner Ihsanullah Khan in the chair.

On the occasion, some traders requested the deputy commissioner to increase the rates of gram, pulses, bakery items and ice but their request was turned down. The deputy commissioner asked the traders to avoid indulging in the illegal practices of profiteering and hoarding, otherwise strict action would be initiated against them.
