KARACHI: The managing director of Karachi Stock Exchange has dispelled rumours of advanced talks with the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) for sale of 40pc strategic shares in the demutualised KSE.

In answer to a query, Nadeem Naqvi said that a QSE delegation would be visiting the KSE on Monday to discuss matters of mutual interest and possible cooperation in areas such as cross listing, joint investment road shows, index data sharing, derivative products, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) market segment, IT solutions and other longer-term strategic cooperation for betterment of the capital markets of both countries.
