Canada to deport banned group’s member

OTTAWA: A member of a banned Pakistani group will be deported from Canada in the next month after being caught with a cache of firearms, an immigration trial heard on Monday.
According to the daily National Post, Muhammad Aqeeq Ansari stockpiled guns and ammunition worth 2,000 Canadian dollars in the basement of a Peterborough, Ontario home.
He has lived in Canada since 2007, but was stripped of his permanent residency and ordered deported last month.
An immigration and refugee board ruled him inadmissible to Canada on “security grounds” over his membership of the Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaal (ASWJ), formerly known as Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP).
The ASWJ was banned in Pakistan a couple of years ago.
Seven of its members were hanged in Pakistan in January for killings, attempted assassinations and an attack on the US consulate in Karachi in 2003.
The Canadian immigration board was informed by the Canada Border Services Agency on Monday of Ansari’s pending deportation.
Officials were not immediately available to confirm his travel schedule.

Here he will be awarded a hero's welcome the media will cover it and Mian sahib will keep mum.
Tomorrow he will be caught killing or bombing innocent minorities and some reporter will say oh he is the same guy who was deported.

It is only a matter of time before all western countries start thinking about stopping all immigration from Pakistan . They may even copy Pakistan and ask Pakistani citizens to confirm they are not terrorists on their visa application forms - Pakistan demands people prove they are Muslim on their passport (the only country in the world that does this)

ASWJ is one of the asset of our MOST EFFICIENT agency and you are telling us to learn from this act.
In absence of such outfits how our efficient agency will get rid off the unwanted ones like BB, Salmaan taseer, people like shahbaz bhatti and MAJOR ALVI.

What? Presumably the weapons were legal hence the inability to jail him in Canada. But now what? More questions: was he questioned as to why he had all those arms? What about American intelligence/law enforcement? Did they just stand by and let Canadian law have its affect on a potential threat to the US? Where is he going now? One guess.....

I think what's happening overseas is instead of charging people for gun offence, they just want to get rid of the problem through deportation. It is much easier to cancel residency and send them packing than prove in court of any supposed links to banned organisations. It also makes a better headline.
So a right to a fair trial is only reserved for citizens?
