IT is commonly observed that MNAs and MPAs receive grants from federal and provincial governments for construction of new schools, colleges and hospitals in their constituencies.
However, a small amount of the total grant is spent on such development schemes, and the remaining amount remains unaccounted for.
I suggest the federal and provincial governments keep strict checks and balances on such MNAs and MPAs.
