RAWALPINDI: A convict in a non-terrorism case will be hanged at the Central Jail Adiala on Wednesday.

Police said after the death warrants for Khan Bahadur of Dara Malakand were issued by the court of law, his relatives were told to have a last meeting with him.

Khan Bahadur was arrested by the Waris Khan police for killing Raja Yasir on September 15, 1997.

About 20 family members of the convict would have a last meeting with him on Tuesday.

It may be noted that since a moratorium on executions was lifted by the government in December 2014, as many as 11 convicts have been hanged in the Adiala jail.
