KARACHI: Dow Uni­versity of Health Sciences held its 6th convocation on Sunday and conferred degrees, gold medals and shields to more than 2,200 graduates belonging to different disciplines on its Ojha Campus.

The degrees were conferred upon the graduates of MBBS, BDS, nursing and medical technology and postgraduates of various disciplines, including dental surgery, professional education, biostatistics and epidemiology.

Chief guest Sardar Yaseen Malik asked the graduates to serve humanity, irrespective of caste, colour and creed.

Vice chancellor Prof Masood Hameed Khan recounted the progress of the university since its inception. He said since its establishment the university had produced 7,382 undergraduates and 1,190 postgraduate students.
