IT is true, as said by every politician and every TV channel, that the nation’s reputation has been badly tarnished by Axact’s fake degrees. But how come the nation’s reputation is not tarnished when scores of parliamentarians are found having fake degrees?
How come the nation’s reputation is not damaged when over 50,000 vehicles in Karachi carry fake number-plates? How come the nation’s reputation is not tarnished when almost 90pc of weapon licenses issued by the state are fake?
How come the nation’s reputation is not tarnished when there are 6,207 fake schools in Sindh? How come the nation is so comfortable and tolerant and does not feel anything wrong about all the fake things that it does everyday?
One would like to know what was so different about Axact’s fakeness in comparison to the government.
