MUZAFFARABAD: A four-member team of the European Union Delegation to Pakistan arrived in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) capital on Monday on a two-day visit.

The team is led by acting Ambassador Stefano Gatto, First Secretary Political Quentin Weiler.

On Monday, the team called on AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed and discussed with him the political and economic situation in the territory, apart from the EU’s programmes for community development.

The team visited the famous of shrine of Sain Saheli Sarkar located across the press club.

The delegation also held meetings with some civil society activists at their hotel and discussed issues of mutual interests.
