LAHORE: A resolution has been submitted by Jamaat-i-islami with the Punjab Assembly secretariat against the recent anti-army speech by MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

The resolution submitted by JI MPA Syed Waseem Akhtar demands the federal government take notice of the alleged anti-state and anti-army speeches by Mr Hussain and banning the MQM to curb its “fascism”.

It also calls for extraditing Mr Hussain from UK and his trial under Article 6 in the country.
