LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate Labour Welfare Complex and announce the first labour policy of the province on Labour Day at Sundar Industrial Estate here on Friday.

Provincial Labour Minister Raja Ashfaq Sarwar visited the construction site of the complex at Sundar and reviewed arrangements being made for the inaugural ceremony.

At least 2,912 multistrey flats would be constructed on 213 acres at the complex where high schools for boys and girls, a community centre, sports and medical facilities will also be provided in three years. The labourers will be given flats in this complex on an ownership basis.
