MIRPURKHAS: The annual examination for intermediate classes under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Mirpurkhas, is starting today (April 28), according to the board chairman, Fasihuddin Khan.

He said in a press release issued on Monday the exams would continue till May 15. Admit cards had been issued to 41,725 students (girls and boys) this year to enable them to appear in examination, he said.

He said that 64 examination centres had been set up in Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Tharparkar and Umerkot that fell within the purview of the board. Of them 13 had been declared sensitive, he added.

Mr Khan said that 12 vigilance committees had been formed to check the use of unfair means and cheating in exams.
