LAHORE: The Pakistan People’s Party will hold a rally in Cantonment areas here on April 23.

The PPP candidates have been advised to go door to door to seek votes for Cantonment elections to be held on April 25.

A meeting of PPP central Punjab leaders with Manzoor Wattoo in the chair was held at party’s Model Town secretariat here on Monday to review the ongoing election campaign in the Lahore Cantonment Board areas.

The PPP has fielded 17 candidates against 20 seats in Lahore cantonment and is supporting three independent candidates.

The meeting also decided to hold a rally on April 23 in the cantonment areas of the city to show strength of the party.

Those who attended the meeting included Navid Chaudhry, Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, Suhail Malik, Dewan Mohyuddin, Haji Azizur Rehman Chan, Mian Abdul Waheed, Asef Nagara, Lubna Chaudhry and Afnan Butt.
