I WAS appalled to see a security guard using megaphone at high pitch to disperse visitors from the courtyard of the Aga Khan University Hospital on April 12 around 9pm.
When both my wife and I protested to the security guard using the megaphone, he got annoyed and started using it even louder almost over my head.
I immediately went to the security office and registered my protest in writing.
The security officer, instead of tendering an apology, started offering flimsy excuses in defence for using the megaphone.
Even blowing car horns near hospitals is prohibited as hospitals are silent zones.
