I WAS surprised to learn about PTI leader Imran Khan’s claim that his government’s performance is better than that of others. I belong to Dheri Maira village, located in union council Salhad, Abbottabad. It is just two kilometres from the Karakoram Highway (forest checkpost at N-35).

Some six years ago a metalled road was planned to serve this village and other adjoining areas, but it has not yet been completed.

Moreover, a bridge on this road was also swept away by torrential rains in 2012, but it has not been reconstructed. Many people regularly travel on this road and face much hardship.

Whenever the MPA concerned is approached, he complains of shortage of funds.

My question to Imran Khan is: how is his party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa doing better than others?
