KARACHI: The two-day Karachi Boxing Champio­nship springs into action at the Ustad Ali Mohammad Qambrani boxing stadium, Kakri Ground, Lyari, on Wedn­­e­s­day, says an announ­ce­ment.

Being organised by Karachi South Boxing Association the event will form criteria to select Karachi team for the all-Sindh boxing championship being held at Tando Jam on April 25 and 26.

The competition will be held in 17 weights – five in boys (36kg, 38kg, 40kg, 42kg and 44kg), seven in juniors – (46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg and 60kg) and five in seniors (49kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg).
