FOOTPATHS are made for pedestrians. However, they are mosly used by hawkers for their carts and stalls.

Owing to this encroachment, pedestrians are left with no alternative but to walk on the road. This causes serious accidents.

The situation is not only limited to smaller cities but to Islamabad also, especially at G-9 Markaz and Mandi Morr.

We urge the IG of traffic police and the traffic authorities of Pakistan to issue tickets to the owners of these carts and stalls. This rule should be strictly implemented.
