Just to refresh readers’ memory, last month the Indian public went gung-ho (mostly on social media) against Anuskha S for being in Australia during the Cricket World Cup, causing Virat K to get distracted from his main duty (which is to perform for his team, not for her).

Now Virat K has come out with a statement: “At the human level, I’d say I was hurt and the people who said those things and the way they said them should be ashamed of themselves.”

Hmm … ever heard the expression ‘let your bat do the talking’ Virat K?
