KARACHI: The provincial health department confirmed on Wednesday that it recorded a total of 182 dengue cases so far this year and all the cases were reported in Karachi.

The figures shared by the Sindh dengue prevention and control programme cell showed not a single case reported anywhere in Sindh except for Karachi. However, the lethal mosquito-borne disease did not cause any death as yet.

The figures showed that 16 dengue cases from various hospitals of Karachi had been reported last week, which brought the total number to 182.
