DERA MURAD JAMALI: A man gunned down his wife on the pretext of honour in Goth Muqeem Khan Jamali, near Usta Muhammad, on Wednesday.
Awal Khair shot dead his wife with an automatic weapon and escaped.
The body was shifted to the Jaffarabad district hospital in Usta Muhammad. “It appears to be a case of honour killing,” a police officer said, adding that further investigation was under way.
The body was handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities.
