LAHORE: Pakistan ladies’ champion Ushna Suhail produced an excellent show before losing to second seed Andrijana Lekaj of Croatia in an ITF WTA Pro Circuit Tennis Tournament match in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.

According to the information released by her family here on Wednesday, Ushna stretched the match to the third set before losing 2-6, 6-4, 1-6 to Lekaj, ranked 355 in the world.

“I wish I could have won but playing against a higher-ranked player and fighting so close, is also encouraging and satisfactory for me,” Ushna said.
