QUETTA: The Balochistan Home Department issued on Monday black warrants for five condemned prisoners, including two brothers.

Official sources said black warrants had been sent to the superintendent of Central Jail in Mach who would fix the date for their execution.

They said black warrants of Mir Hamza, son Lal Gul Khan; Ali Gul and Meero, sons of Ali Bakhsh; Zaman, son of Jaffar and Mohammad Ismail, son of Kamal Khan, had been issued after President Mamnoon Hussain rejected their mercy petitions.

The five, detained in Mach jail, had been sentenced to death for committing murders and subversive activities in the province.

Meanwhile, the jail superintendent received orders for postponement of execution of Saulat Mirza till April 30.
