New SBP deputy governor assumes charge

KARACHI: Riaz Riazu­ddin on Monday assumed charge as Deputy Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), a press release said.

The federal government notified his appointment on March 28, 2015 for a period of three years.

Prior to assuming charge as deputy governor, he has been serving as Chief Economic Adviser and leading SBP’s monetary policy group of departments.
