No room for corruption in judiciary: CJ

KHUZDAR: Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Noor Muhammad Meskanzai has said there is no room for corruption in judiciary, adding that easy and speedy justice will create a civilised society.

He was addressing judicial officials and other staff after laying foundation-stone of Judicial Officers Bungalows and Staff Colony here on Saturday. He said: “All stakeholders will have to play their due role for strengthening judiciary which is the third pillar of the state.”

Meanwhile, the chief justice visited Jhalawan Bar where president of the Jhalawan Bar Association, Bashir Ahmed Samalani, and other members of the lawyers fraternity apprised him of issues and problems faced by them.

The chief justice annou­nced providing electronic library and books for the Jhalawan Bar Association.

He inaugurated a separate bar room for women lawyers on the District and Sessions Judge Court premises and announced a financial assistance of Rs50,000 for the bar room.
