TIMERGARA: A minor girl was among two persons killed and one was injured in separate road accidents here on Saturday.

Noor Baz, 15, resident of Mayar Jandol, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car coming from the opposite side at Munda bazaar. Driver of the car fled the scene.

The Munda police registered a case and started search for the fleeing driver.

Similarly, a baby girl was killed and his brother was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a vehicle at Kotkay Maidan area. Local residents identified the injured as Irfan and his little sister, Sweera, 6, who were going on a motorcycle from Kumbar to Dilgram village.

Meanwhile, a man identified as Mohammad Yaqub was killed when his nephew, Ibrahim, reportedly opened fire on him at Kas Ghuwargay village in the jurisdiction of Haya Serai Maidan police station the other day, local residents said.

They said the SHO of Haya Serai police station took the body to the Lal Qila Maidan hospital. The killer escaped the area.

According to local residents, the suspected killer had also shot dead a son of the victim, last year.

The motive behind the murder was stated to be a land ownership dispute between the uncle and his nephew.

The police registered a case and began further investigations.
