The multifaceted actor and singer Ali Zafar has won the ‘Most Stylish Import’ award at a Hindustan Times Style Awards organised by the Hindustan Times Mumbai.

Ali who last appeared in Bollywood flick Kill Dil was given the award for his chic and modern fashion sense as he dressed to nine at various functions and events.
According to Hindustan Times Mumbai: "This Pakistani singer and Bollywood actor's good looks paired with his smart and quirky sense of style make him a favourite among the ladies.

Ali Zafar enjoys reinventing his style quotient whenever he can, and his red carpet appearances prove that. Over the years, the confidence with which he has pulled off a moustached look, a French beard, and a variety of different hairstyles proves that he is indeed the Most Stylish Import the country has seen."

Previously Ali had also been crowned the ‘World’s Sexiest Asian Man’ in 2013 and stood at number three in the category in 2014.
Ali made a name for himself in Bollywood after he played the comical role of Ali Hasan in Tere Bin Laden. The actor is also involved in various social projects and recently dedicated a song 'Urain Gay' to the victims of Peshawar attack on December 16.

Nice to see Pakistani artists performing in Indian films...Next step that should be taken is to allow wide release of Bollywood films in Pakistan...Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan movies will be treated like a festival by Pakistani fans No doubt...It will bring the two countries closer...

@sandeep He was a bigger stat at home and that is the reason he was invited over to Bollywood, by that time Ali Zafar had enough audience in Pakistan and India, enough fans through his music videos, the marketing people though this is the right time to cast him in B'town.
No one in Bollywood will cast anyone who is not a star at home.

I had seen Ali Zadar when I went for clubbing in Mumbai...this was when he was a singer and a struggler...he came up to me and asked can I dance with you, I am singer from pakistan...I ignored him that time..never knew he will become this big name..

Why does India, a country of over 1.2 billion people need people from Pakistan. Oh ya because they like fair looking non-Indian looking Pakistanis. Pakistanis should not care about the Indian media and continue to focus on our still developing domestic scene which requires time and nurturing.

Ali zafar is a Coooool guy. Totally chilled out. His manners, attitude and fashion sense is just about right. He is a well rounded artist, with many dimensions to his art. And he loves India.

Pakistan can send as many zafars, fawads and veenas, but the two people i will always be thankful to Pak for producing are NFAK and RFAK and to an extent Atif...no other people come close to those 2 gems

@sandeep There is a big difference between the societies of both India and Pakistan. In India a great audience and viewers of cinema and appreciations of art work. Pakistan still lacks much in this respect. My personal view: Any reasonable film made in India can earn money. The film maker will try again for another one.

Ali Zafar is a multi talented artist .. but does not have the star power to carry a Bollywood movie on his own ... No comparison with SRK, Amir, Salman, Akhsay, Hrithik or Ranbir Kapoor ... These are Super stars .. There movies are expensive to produce and need to earn hundreds of Crores . Ali Zafar, Fawd Khan and others can only play support roles in Big films or will have leading roles in small budget movies .. Movies like Tere bin Laden or Chashmebaddoor ... However, it is welcom to have fresh talent in Indian industry.
