RAWALPINDI: The immigration staff of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) deported an American national to Dubai after they found his visa forged on his arrival at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Thursday.

Bilal Aslam, additional director Immigration revealed to Dawn that the passenger, Raja Mohammad Saghir, arrived at Islamabad airport on an Emirates Airline flight EK-614 from Dubai. However, it was yet to be investigated that how he got the Pakistani visa.

The AD immigration said the passenger was later handed over to the airline officials for deportation.

Meanwhile, the two Pakistanis were off-loaded while trying to travel to Italy and the United Kingdom respectively after their passports were found fake by the immigration staff.

Both the travelers were handed over to the FIA’s anti-human smuggling wing for further investigation.
