IT was regretful to see the wide and spacious Jinnah Avenue in Islamabad being reduced from five lanes to just three lanes for vehicular traffic in order to accommodate the metro bus.
On the other hand, the track for the metro bus has been made so wide as to enable two buses to overtake each other in a particular direction. How does the government expect to cope with the ever-growing traffic on Jinnah Avenue?
It is difficult to comprehend how the CDA’s roads directorate, Islamabad traffic police and the ministry concerned allowed this outrageous action.
