New Zealand and South Africa will both be seeking a first World Cup semi-final victory as they meet in Auckland on Tuesday. Between them, New Zealand and South Africa have appeared in nine semi-finals without reaching a World Cup final. But they both have a chance to put that unwanted record behind them at Auckland's Eden Park.

This world Cup belongs to New Zealand,other teams wasting there time.Better for South Africa to give walk over to New Zealand.Even other teams just there to make the 10 team numbers.No point in wasting our time watching one sided match of New Zealand.

NZ has the firepower bowling which SA lacks. SA need to score big to make it a contest especially considering the mediocre form of Steyn and Morkel.

Tough task ahead for NZ to chase 298 in 43 overs....seems SA is going into final....
Ind vs aus is 60-40 in favor of aus becoz of home conditions...indian bowlers hv to really really bowel well...ind always nervous against aus...

These knockout matches are crucial for every team, i think full 50 overs should be allowed to play no matter whatever time is lost due to rain.

No trophy's are given before winning madam, NZ has played & won only in NZ's 60 yards pitches so far, if they win here also, no surprise considering their home conditions, When they meet Aus / Ind in finals at MCG, iam sure u will change your opinion. Keep my words...

I missed your funny comments for hole last week dear, if you were ICC president, you would have been given WC directly to NZ without wasting any time i believe. NZ is playing in their home conditions in 60 yards pitches, MCG is their real test, if they Win here.

IMO ICC should have a separate WC for the top four teams (Aus, Ind, SA & NZ), the rest of the teams are way behind.

small grounds should not be allowed for knockouts...........
time extensions shud be given incase of rain in knockouts ..........
if india beats australia cup belongs to india , final will be played in MCG WHERE boundries are much bigger than newzeland grounds , newzeland dont play spin well with bigger boundries they will be caught saffers have more class for bigger grounds ..........
aussies will be the toughest challenge for india , match fit the bill

though I will not take away even single mark from kiwis, but this d/l is curse man, that to in even so high profile matches they put this nonsense thing. If they wud have allowed SA for 50 over it was easily near 400 score, which was almost imossible to win. This is very very bad. D/L shud be removed immediately.

South Africa would have been easier opponent.
New Zealanders are solid and we can expect a cliff-hanger of a final !
I presume, in case Australia loses tomorrow, the Aussies will support India in stead of NZ at the MCG.
