LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to include subjects on elimination of sectarianism, extremism, terrorism and promotion of tolerance, patience and brotherhood in syllabus.

Presiding over a meeting here on Saturday, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif gave a formal approval to holding essay writing and speech competitions on topics like elimination of sectarianism, extremism and terrorism throughout the province. The meeting also reviewed measures being taken for implementation of the National Action Plan and the law and order situation in the province.
