LAHORE: PTI’s political board committee of Punjab has decided constituting district-level committees for local government elections. The committees will also keep an eye on delimitation of constituencies in all districts.

PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry, who heads the board, said the party would fully participate in local government elections. He said the PML-N had been avoiding the elections for many years.

PTI leaders Rai Hasan Nawaz, Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed and Dr Yasmin Rashid called Supreme Court’s direction about the early holding of elections a positive step.
