LAHORE: The first Pakistan mega leather show will begin from March 6 at Expo Centre under the auspicious of Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) and Pakistan Footwear Manufacturers Association (PFMA).
Delegates from European Union have confirmed their participation in the three-day event, said PTA Chairman Mohammad Musaddiq at a news conference at Expo Centre on Wednesday. Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastagir Khan will inaugurate the exhibition where some 250 Pakistani companies will display their products at 300 stalls. Businessmen from Turkey, Russia, China, India, South Africa, Taiwan and Japan would also be attending the event.
A 10-member delegation from New Delhi will also attend the group dialogue on ‘South Asia, India-Bangladesh-Pakistan: next hub for leather footwear,’ scheduled for March 7.
