GWADAR: Armed men kidnapped Balochi language poet Ali Kamshan from Pasni on Tuesday.

Ali Kamshan is the son of a prominent fish trader of Pasni.

According to police, a group of men on motorcycles intercepted the car of Ali Kamshan who was going home with a relative and whisked them away at gunpoint.

Later, the kidnappers allowed the relative of Mr Kamshan to go home, police said.

According to witnesses, four kidnappers forced the kidnapped man to move towards the Coastal Highway.

Despite hectic efforts, police failed to trace him till late in the evening.
