Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan debuts an edgy new look on the cover of this month's Indian Vogue.

Sporting a heavy fringe, an 'I don't care' expression and fur, Aishwarya looks undeniably cool.

The actress is next set to appear in Jazbaa, alongside Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher. The film is something of a comeback for Aishwarya, who's been out of the Bollywood scene for a while. Jazbaa, an action flick, promises to show Aishwarya in a different light, and her Vogue cover shoot seems to reflect this change.

In the accompanying interview by Kersi Khambatta in Indian Vogue, Aishwarya explains how she never really veered too far from Bollywood: "Yes, there was a maternity leave, just like any other working woman—in fact, I was working right up to my sixth month, with my various product endorsements and other stuff. There were no movies, obviously," she says.

Fashionistas took to twitter to rave about her new look:

We think it's safe to say Aish is back.
