Throwball course begins

KARACHI: A three-day national throwball umpiring and coaching course commenced at the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) here on Thursday in which nearly hundred umpires, coaches, students and teachers from various departments and units are participating.

PTF General Secretary Maqbool Arain, Dr Basit Ansari, Anwar Ahmed, Shazia Yousuf, Khalid Pervaiz and Tayyab Butt will be imparting lectures during the course to highlight the finer points and rules of the game.

The course is being organised by the Pakistan Throwball Federation (PTF).

Chief guest Dr Sadiq Patni inaugurated the course. Also present on the occasion were PTF chairman Dr Javed Yousuf, SOA secretary Mudassar Arain, KOA secretary Gohar Raza, SBA secretary Saleem Paracha and director PSB M.N. Mangrio.
