Ammad wins squash title

PESHAWAR: Mohammad Ammad upset national champion Adadullah to clinch the U-11 final of the PSB Talent Hunt Age Group Squash Championship here at the PSB Coaching Centre on Thursday.

Ammad outplayed Asadullah in a marathon four-game battle. After losing the first game 10-12, Ammad staged a strong comeback, winning three consecutive games 11-9, 11-8 and 12-10 to claim the title.

In the U-9 final, top seed Ibrahim Mohib defeated Humam Ahmed 13-11, 11-9 and 11-9.

Top seed Uzair Shaukat overpowered Rashid Daulat in the U-13 decider, winning the match 11-9, 12-10, 7-11, 12-10.
