Amazing! the caption clearly says: "At the END of TRAINING."
Really, Pakistani fans are amazing: if it were up to them, they would have controlled even the air that these players breathe.
Replace amazing with "pathetic".

Pakistan will play excellently in the coming matches. I am sorry to say this, but most of the cricket crazy people ,foolishly get emotional on team losing. Cricket is a multi billion dollar business. Each and every thing is fixed. Players and teams make billions and they are least interested in emotional outbursts of silly fans. Players getting out without scoring runs does not mean that they do not know to play or not in form. Pakistan having lost two matches,is not a favourite with bookies right now. So,people will not bet on it. See the opposite happening in the coming matches and billions are made by bookies and shared with players. Same, happened with India. So,stop cursing players !!

@Optimist I agree with you. Why blame Younis only when entire batting line-up is crippled. He is the only batsman in the side who can play spin bowlers effectively. Also he is the only one to play long innings. Moreover, he is quick between the wickets unlike the rest of the team.
Yes, he is under performing in ODIs and has to get back to his best in the coming matches. But I fail to understand what difference would it make if Younis Khan not featuring in the 11?
To accommodate Sarfaraz Ahmed we have to replace the opener and let Sarfaraz and Shehzad open the innings. If not Shehzad then let Afridi open it up with Shehzad. Jamshed is a total failure in last many ODIs. He is a liability in the field as well. He runs around like a 50 year old man who hasn't played any Sports for past many years. Please give him a rest.

If our team is working hard and really want to win then I wish them best of luck and loads of prayers but if their intensions are anything other than winning then I hope they get what they deserve and God punished them severely for hurting so many people. I know its only a game but our kids are looking up to them and I just hope they cope on and do well in the remaining of the tournament. If theyvselect their 11 best and give it 100 percent then we are behind them even if they lose..

All the people are missing a point here and blaming cricketers for lack of performance. Pakistan has not played at home since the last 5 years, only played in UAE where the wickets are completely different to the ones in Aus/NZ. They have got very few practice matches to be match fit. Instead people should blame the extremists for the current situations and should stop supporting the militants activities and protest against bombings and full support should be given to the PAK Cricket Team at this time.

They must play Rahat Ali instead of Sohail. Rahat Ali can swing the ball both ways and could be the answer to Pakistan's inability to take wickets up front. If I were the captain, I would open with Ahmad Shehzad and Haris Sohail. Haris looks to be the best among all to play the new ball with a bit of command. At 3 it should be Misbah and younis at 4. Pakistan should not add the 4th bowler as Haris is good enough for this match. Younis too can aid him with a couple of overs.

IRONICALLY every one in Pakistan is only concerned about batting but no one has the time to look at the bowling. Pakistan's strike bowler Mohammad Irfan has taken only one wicket and Afridi has no wicket to his name. Wahab has two and yasir non. Compare it to any other team; For NZ, Southie has 11, Vetori 6 and another two bowlers with 5 each. For SL, Malinga and Lakmal both have 6 each and some others with 4 and 3, For WI Taylor has 9 wickets while holder and another have 4 each. Even UAE bowler fair better than Pakistani bowlers. Yes Sohail can boast of a 5 for but that too had 4 of them in the last 3 overs of the innings, a time when indians were slogging blindely. All those expecting Irfan to do wonders, are bitting their nails now, while Waqar is unable to make him bowl on better lengths. Mr. Afridi had lately branded him a specialist bowler when he was failing badly in batting. What would he come up with now? A prolific fielder may be, which he was in the match against WI.

1. If Misbah wins the toss simply he has to bat no matter what pitch conditions are , should not repeat the mistake of batting second if wins the toss, because everyone knows Pakistan not good in chasing a score 200 plus.
2. Misbah should lead from the front he should come 1 or 2 down .
3. yasir shah have to play in every match from here because (zimbabwe ireland and Africa will struggle to play spin)
4. sarfaraz should be there in playing eleven captain and coach should show some faith in him because he is very aggressive and should get enough chances. After a long time we have seen aggresive player in pakistan .
5.If captain and coach wants younus to be in playing 11 , he should come down the order 4th or 5th not before that ,younus is good only when spinners are bowling in tandem and when the bowl gets old.
6. The only way Pakistan can play Quaretrfinal final from here is they have to win all the matches ahead of them not only have to win have to improve the net runrate as well they should have complete calculations in mind before they take the field in every match
7. Nasir Jamshed should not be in playing 11 what so ever

we cannot blame completely pakistan team for there poor performance because pakistan are not playing enough cricket compare to other countries ,if they play they play in UAE, playing and performing in UAE condition is good for nothing. until and unless you play cricket very often in Australia , England and Newzealand (especially for sub continent teams) you will not get familiar with those conditions . All of a sudden playing worldcup in Australia and Newzealand will be a daunting task for the players to perform and if we see from the current 15 players most of them visited and playing cricket first time in those conditions , how can we expect them to perform no way .look at India they are performing now at the right time in world cup , initially 4 months they struggle too, first they loss test series followed by loss of ODI triseries, so overall it is a smart move by BCCI they have arrange series in Australia before the WC

Win or lose is a must for compeating teams. The difference between Pakistani batsmen and other winning teams I have noted is Pakistanis are impatients to hit fours and sixs on every ball and return to pavellion quickly where as others establish them self and then gear up.
Pakistan team managers and coach should teach them and control according to situation at least they have some responsibility on their shoulders.

However much you hate your team, what is it with national pride, that the moment Pakistan team steps out on the field, for a brief moment they are your pride and joy.......... that is until the wickets start tumbling, catches getting dropped and misfields. And if that hurts, it's because we love them.
Otherwise we couldn't care less.
I also suggest that the contract system needs to be changed from seniority based to performance based. "A" contract of $4500 a month should be reduced to $2000 a month. With 8 senior world teams, our ranking should be atleast #4. at this ranking they should make $3500 a month. Then the fees should rise steeply as they improve world ranking. Give them incentive to make $10, 000 a month for world # 1 and watch their performance improve. They will field as if their life depended on it. They will practice till they die.

I wounder who introduced him and Misbah to cricket ... who brought them into international cricket ... I am amazed at their crickiting mind ........ Pakistan is going down ... its almost sure now ... very disappointing for me ...

You are right. These fans are hard to be pleased. We are a nation of people who only criticize others.

PIctures are very nice,, thye still my Pakistani brothers, but i am sad and not happy with them, but again not the players only,, it all goes back to PCB ,
Lesson learnt : retire like SHoib,, all the great players retire when they are at thier pick.
Now I am not a Pakistani fan anymore, I am Pakistani American and i will support my Westind team. India No way in my 100 generation.
Sad,,,,not to be Pakistan team fan anymore, I have no faith in my Paki team,, infact I have no faith in ICC, I respect FIFA. WIll watch FIFA Games.
All pakistanis should support westindies,, NO INDIA, best of fall turn off tvs anything related to ICC.

Sad to see such de-motivating comments. They need support and encouragement. No one wants to lose the game. Its just that they had 2 bad days. They can come back and they will (InshaAllah). Treat them like your children and support them.

As a eternally suffering cricket fan watching Pakistani cricketer team failing to adopt to Australian conditions over the last four decades I was not surprised to see their pitiful performance against India and West Indies. I am not aware of the politics of picking team coach and team in Pakistan but as a observer I can say that in all the modern sports including cricket it is specially trained coaches are picked.
It is not only for technical reasons but also how good are they in people management. They need to be well trained in human psychology and deal players on individual bases. They need to know the psyche of each player and know how to get the best out of each player. A generalised rules and comments do not suit every one.
Unless we get rid of politics from sports I am afraid Pakistani fans will suffer time and again.

It is very surprising to see a player like Younus to stay in the team and be rigid about him being in the team, he should step down and give place to others when he knows that he is out of form.
Is he waiting to come in form after we loose the qualifying round .

I think there is some problem in pakistan team- I am sure that they are much better than the way they have performed. Could be some internal rift. I think Afridi is a liability (especially with his politics and attitude) and so is Yunus (well the whole world agrees on that). Misbah alone cannot carry the burden. Pakistan should be brave enough and bring in Sarfaraz and play Akmal as pure batsman. As for bowling I think they are fine- just a bit of motivation and they are quite good. For batsmen, Pakistan should not make too many changes except dropping Yunus Khan. Guys already have a feel of the tournament and the pressure so let them continue. Of course Pakistan must have fielded what they thought was their best 11 against India so no need to change opinions (except on Yunus) just after two matches. Good luck guys. Peace to the world.

If Younus Khan is included again, it would be a recipe for another disaster. Look at him in above pictures. He seems to be laughing shamelessly after producing those two shameless innings, causing Team Pakistan's downfall. Instead, he should have shown a serious face while training. For God's sake get rid of him and include Sarfraz if Pakistan is to have any chance to survive into the next round.

Why is Misbah throwing the ball holding it along the seam. I'm no expert but coaching basics tell us to hold it cross the seam. Mr Luden?
