KARACHI: A small and mediocre five-race card has been chalked out for the Gymkhana race meeting which takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday.

The races which normally takes place on Sunday, has been brought forward by a day to avoid clash with Derby trials slated at Lahore on Sunday. Some horses and riders of the KRC have already gone to Lahore to feature in the contest.

According to schedule, 30 acceptors are set to compete for honours in the day’s races which have been named Valentine Day Plate of different scale orders keeping in view the universal Valentine Day on Saturday.

The last race, which is also day’s feature event, – The Valentine Day Plate Scale Order I to be run over five furlongs – has a field of four horses.

The first race starts at 2pm.

THE VALENTINE DAY PLATE SCALE ORDER VII AND VIII 4 ½ F:

Sonia Again 9-5, Capri 8-12, Pampas Grass 8-8, Zeenat 7-10, Rubai 7-8, Nany 7-4, Dabang 7-4. Win: Pampas Grass. Place: Sonia Again.

THE VALENTINE DAY PLATE SCALE ORDER VI 5 F:

Fly Free 9-0, Beautiful Rose 9-0, Silk Master 8-13, Lucky Lyna 8-13, Urban Lady 8-12, Khazana 8-10, Postal Address 8-7. Win: Beautiful Rose. Place: Khazana.

THE VALENTINE DAY PLATE SCALE ORDER IV AND V 5 F:

Blue Eyes 9-4, Tiny Terror 8-10, Satisfy 8-8, Lava Man 8-0, Great Man 7-12, Cigar 7-6. Win: Blue Eyes. Place: Tiny Terror.

THE VALENTINE DAY PLATE SCALE ORDER III AND IV 5 F:

Tejori 9-0, Lacoste 9-0, Mother Asia 8-3, Sher Dil 8-3, Drone 8-2, Honey Queen 7-11. Win: Tejori. Place: Honey Queen.

THE VALENTINE DAY PLATE SCALE ORDER I 5 F:
