NOWSHERA: A boy committed suicide after firing at his love at Kacha Gahri area of Pabbi here on Saturday. Local police said that the boy, resident of Kacha Gahri, shot himself dead after firing at a girl, also leaving her seriously injured. He was later buried in his village after autopsy at local hospital.

Police said that local people shifted the injured girl to Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed Memorial Hospital, Pabbi. Later, she was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar due to her critical condition.

The father of the girl filed FIR in Pabbi police station, stating that he was informed by the people that the boy had fired on her daughter. However, he didn’t tell police why the incident happened.

Meanwhile, a police constable was killed and his brother-in-law was injured when they both quarreled over a woman issue in Marhati Banda area.

Police said that Abdul Rehman had come to the house of his in-laws to take his wife back home. However, he got involved in a brawl with his wife’s brother, constable Waseem Akbar, which led to exchange of fire between them, resulting in serious injuries to the two.

Police said both Waseem and Abdul Reham were brought to district headquarters hospital, Nowshera, where Waseem succumbed to his wounds.

Akora Khattak police registered case and began investigation.
