CDA to rebuild I.J. Principal Road

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to rebuild the dilapidated I.J. Principal Road.

The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting held at CDA headquarters here.

The meeting was attended among others by the CDA chairman, Maroof Afzal and Rawalpindi Chief Commissioner Zahid Saeed.

It was also decided to install LED (light emitting diodes) lights on the road.

The CDA also decided to start repairing the roads, which were damaged by the metro bus project, said a CDA press release issued here on Saturday.

The CDA Chairman, Maroof Afzal directed the concerned departments to immediately start repair work on the 9th Avenue, Nazim-ud-Din Road, Luqman Hakim Road and other major roads of Islamabad affected by the project.
