ISLAMABAD: The capital police arrested 76 suspects from different parts of the city on Tuesday.

Police said the suspects could not produce their identification documents and were taken into custody for investigations.

The police also arrested 25 outlaws, including seven gamblers, and claimed to have recovered a vehicle, laptops, stake money, and looted items from their possession.

The Margalla police arrested a man from F-8 Markaz on the charge of patronising beggars.

A police team rounded up five beggars at F-8 Markaz. When they were being shifted to the police station, their handlers tried to free them.

But the police team retaliated and succeeded in arresting one of them. Later, a case was registered against the man.

The Golra police raided a house in Sector F-12 and arrested six gamblers and recovered stake money worth Rs4,100.
