LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Monday slapped life term on a traffic warden on charges of facilitating terrorists.
The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) had arrested Muhammad Azam, a warden, recovering a pistol and explosive material from his possession in May 2014.
The agency stated the warden used to facilitate movement of the terrorists on roads. Besides life imprisonment, the court also ordered confiscation of the convict’s property.
