RAWALPINDI: Six vehicles, including an oil tanker, were damaged when a fire broke out at a PSO filling station in Pirwadhai early Sunday.

Officials were still trying to determine the cause of the fire.

The fire erupted at around 1:30am and engulfed the oil tanker. The flames also spread to a passenger wagon, two minibuses and a taxi parked at the petrol pump.

As many as 35 officials along with 10 firefighting engines reached the spot and extinguished the flames.

The fire department said the negligence on part of the filling station could be the cause of fire.
