SIALKOT: The groom’s 10-year-old nephew was killed by jubilant fire by guests in a wedding function at Chak Bagga-Sabzpeer, Pasrur, on Sunday.

Reportedly, the wedding procession of Ali Mubarak was ready for departure when some guests, including Aslam, started firing into the air. Some bullets hit Mubarak’s nephew, Ahmed, killing him on the spot, turning the wedding house into a mourning place. Sabzpeer police shifted the body to the THQ Civil Hospital for autopsy. Police have registered a case with no arrest.

BUSTED: Sialkot police claimed to have busted a gang of fake currency notes makers and arrested four suspects.

According to the senior police officials, the suspects, Zeeshan alias Shani, Pervaiz, Babar Rawal and Iqra Bibi, were involved in making fake notes of national and foreign currencies, besides supplying them in local open markets. Police registered a case while further investigations were underway.
