KARACHI: Top pugilists of the province will make their appearance when the three-day Director General Rangers Sindh boxing championship takes place at Ustad Abdullah Baloch Boxing Stadium, Peoples Sports Complex, from Feb 5, an official of the Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) said on Saturday.

Over 50 boxers representing five divisions of the province — Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana — will show their prowess in 10 weight divisions of the event.

The winners are expected to earn Rs10,000 apiece while the runners-up will get Rs5,000 each. The event carries an estimated budget of Rs200,000.
