ISLAMABAD: State Minister the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Usman Ibrahim on Wednesday said his ministry had released Rs200 million for the security of schools and colleges.

Talking to mediapersons at Islamabad Model College for Girls G-10, he said a procurement committee comprising representatives of Public Works Department (PWD), Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) and CADD would ensure quality of work.

“We will hold security meeting on daily basis and will try to complete security arrangements in shortest time.”

The minister said he had directed the FDE to arrange an emergency exit gate in the schools.

Additional Secretary CADD, Qaiser Majid Malik, DG FDE Aamir Ashraf Khawaja were also present on the occasion.
