ISLAMABAD: China welcomed on Friday the national action plan prepared by Pakistan to eliminate terrorism from the country.
“China is against terrorism in any form. China firmly supports Pakistan in the implementation of its anti-terrorism strategy in accordance with its own national situation, and welcomes its national anti-terror plan,” Chinese Xinhua news agency quoted Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying as saying in Beijing.
“China will continue to provide assistance to Pakistan in its efforts to counter terrorism and safeguard its national security,” the spokesperson said.

@Tranquil Aisha Did you read the comments from the Indians after the horrific massacre at Peshawar? How many of your Chinese "friends" came out in support and expressed solidarity with Pakistan? Also, I really don't know if the Chinese leadership strongly condemned the attacks at Peshawar. I could not find any such news on this website. I may be wrong.

@Tranquil Aisha Remember it was Indians not Chinese held a one minute silent prayer for all the victims of the Peshwar massacre. What short term memories Pakistanis have. China is good at lip service. It remains to see how they help Pakistan combat terrorism at ground level.

Also, how many Chinese "friends" expressed their horror at the Peshawar carnage? Also, did the Chinese leadership condemn the horrific massacre in Peshawar? I could not find any such news. I may be wrong though.

All I want to say is, Pakistan people are the same as Indians. We all need support but when it comes from a foreign country, there's always some selfish motives. I hope people of Pakistan bring the change and hopefully in future they would not need any help from any country. Youth of PAKISTAN you are the one that have to bring the change.

China has its own vested interests when it is dealing with Pakistan.
The people of Pakistan have to understand just what sort of atrocities China is committing on the poor Muslim people in China. The subjugation of the Muslims in Western China is deplorable. And China claims it is preserving the integrity of China by stamping down hard on any separatist movement.
There is a huge difference in social economics between the western orientated east and the poor suburbias in the west of China.
Look at the Indian persecution of Kashmir and one can then understand the plight of the Muslims in western China.
