LAHORE: Two men were allegedly killed over a monetary dispute in Gulshan-i-Ravi here on Sunday.

Police said that car dealers Anwar, 40, and his relative Hasam Zafar, 16, of Shalimar Colony, received a phone call to take payment from Imran Butt of Gulshan-i-Ravi.

Both of them reached the house of Imran at Nonariyan Bridge where the suspect, his brother Aamir and their five accomplices, after heated arguments, allegedly fired at them. They received critical injuries and died while being taken to a hospital.

Their bodies were shifted to a morgue for autopsies.

A case has been registered against seven alleged killers on the complaint of victims’ uncle Tahir Iqbal.

Tahir said that Imran Butt was defaulter of Rs0.6 million.

Investigation Officer Iqbal Husain said the police were conducting raids, but the suspects went into hiding after locking their houses.
