And they say death punishment has no effect on the criminals. When you know the time of your death days in advance it certainly makes an impact on the criminal mind and knocks in the fear not only in his mind but in the potential killer. There is great wisdom in Allah's laws of justice whoever questions death penalty is infact questioning the wisdom of Allah.

The dead person be identified by the victims' relatives before he is buried to avoid suspicion of foul play. If the dead prisoner is buried without outside independent identification and videotaping then its smells something wrong. We have lost confidence on our government officials - sorry state of affairs.

In Pakistan everyone wants to be sponsored by these companies to save their costs :P
Like the jails, pepsi mustve agreed to give them a signage but with branding and ppl running chai dhaba also ask these same companies to get their shops painted but with huge branding.

@wizarat Do you think the prisoner has been spirited away? How interesting! If that is the case, it would be beyond shameful.

this police station even does not have money to buy a display board for their gate. this could be due to high corruption ( the board money has been misappropriated ) or poverty

@umair getting a Pepsi logo on the jail to cut costs is a good idea man! There's nothing working in advertising something on a prison. I really liked the idea. India should give it a thought....these prisoners are a liability on the society anyway, might as well make a few rupees out of them

Under the "Central Jail Sukkur" it says "Dar-ul-Islah" or House of Correction or simply Correctional Facility, however it is broken. Maybe they wanna correct their board before trying to correct the people.

@Ajay Vikram Singh "Did I just see a Pepsi logo on a central jail gate? Pepsi?!!"
When the police department doesn't have money to pay from own pocket, they tend to find sponsors. Some years ago in Islamabad a similar sponsored police check-post had the signposting:
'Islamabad Police - Hang Ten'

It seems RAW has increased their agents, covering Pakistani press. You would find sarcastic, stupid, inflammatory, out of place comments on each and every news item, they start their shift really early. Obviously they use different names and identities, but they are recognizable. Best policy is to ignore their spiteful attack and keep on with your positive comments and efforts.
