Lahore races postponed

LAHORE: The Lahore Winter Meeting scheduled to be held at the Racecourse here on Sunday has been cancelled in view of the mourning period for the terrorists attack on a school in Peshawar earlier in the week.

An announcement to this effect was made by the Lahore Race Club (LRC) said on Saturday.

The LRC has announced that the next race meeting will be held on Dec 28 for which a new programme will be issued next week.
