After completing two decades of exquisite style, fashion guru Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) has been appointed as a member of the senate of the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) in Lahore, according to a press release.
“I’m absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been appointed as member senate of PIFD, an institution that will always remain a special part of my journey as a fashion couturier. I hope that my experience and contribution to the industry will greatly aid me to make positive contribution to the council,” said the couturier.
HSY’s pioneering role in the fashion industry of Pakistan has been of significant influence and through his designs, he has created new professional benchmarks. He considers the representation in the senate of PIFD as an opportunity to create new fashion trends in Pakistan.
PIFD is a specialised design institute which caters to students in becoming fashion designers as well as marketers. Headed by President Mamnoon Hussain, the council comprises of over 20 members, including renowned personalities like Nayyer Ali Dada, Musarrat Khosa and Dr Ishrat Hussain.
